Well I thought I did completely horrible on my first paper for my revolution class. It was seriously the worst thing I've ever written in my entire life. BUT (thank God for real) I got an 87 on it!!! I saw that grade and went into shock for the 2nd time this week. The first time was when i saw an 8/10 on a quiz from my other history class. We also got our mid-terms back in the revolution class. I got an 81 which means I have a B in the class. Yay! I was kinda worried about it because taking notes in that class is kinda hard but apparently my notes were good enough.

I went to my first sign language practice for the dance concert. It wasn't that bad. The two songs are songs I've heard a billion times so picking up the signs hasn't been that hard. Too bad the versions we're using pretty much suck.
Did I mention that I enjoyed church Sunday? Ray is still my favorite pastor. Good stuff. Really. Seriously. It was GOOD.

Tonight it's just Belle, David, Jeremy and I. Ani is with Bekah and Beth is with Jenna. Debi & Grady went to Lancaster for the weekend. Jeremy leaves tomorrow to spend the evening & Sunday with Twila. Should be fun with just me, David and Belle here. Well gotta get the boys to do some more work...lata! |

So I put the yahoo radio on and the first song they play is Ruben Studdard singing "Shout to the Lord"...and I must say...I like it. It's probably one of the best versions of that song I've ever heard. Maybe I should look into getting his album...I can't believe I just said that!
And once again today, the sun started coming up around 6:15 a.m. Just thought you all would wanna know that.
Break would have officially started for me at 3:15 yesterday but I had Koinonia last night and work right now so it officially starts at 8 a.m...or 8:30 when I leave (?). You pick.
Don't know how often I'll be updating this next week but hopefully it's a couple times.

I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO getting spoiled with this new roomie! First she gets me care bear stuff for V-day and now...she brings me HOME MADE APPLE PIE!!!! I <3 it! God did a good job this time! :-)
I had a history mid-term this morning in my early republic class. It went...okay. I remembered more than I thought I would but I won't know if that was enough till probably next week. My other history mid-term is next Thursday. I'm a little more worried about this one. The teacher seems to be somewhat sporadic and my notes aren't that great. We'll have to see how it goes.

My home school district lost 2 more students. Mentally handicapped 9th grader Kyle Rowles died Thursday of a heart attack. Travis Walter, 10th grader, died last night in a car accident. Zebululon Doyle was in the car with Travis and was life flighted to Danville Hospital. He's in the 10th grade. Please keep the families and friends of these boys in your prayers. |
